Ginger cat picture, felted ginger cat portrait

Cute needle felted ginger cat 3D picture. This would make a wonderful gift for a cat lover.

Cat has been made from a combination of Merino and Shetland wool. I have sewn some beads to the eyes. The whiskers are made from embroidery thread, which I have coated with craft glue to hold them in place. The cat face is presented in a 7.5 x 7.5cm light wood deep box frame (glass has been removed). It has been secured to a piece of 100% wool felt sheet with non-toxic craft glue (the wool felt sheet is glued to the back of the frame).

The cat face itself is approx. 5cm at its widest point.
